New mexico world of warships wiki9/25/2023 ![]() To me, this is what makes the ship so fun as it's almost the "sweet spot" for USN BB's. is different so that may be what's making it a wash). has a different firing arc compared to the Colorado and I believe the N.Y (would need confirmation, but the dispersion on the N.Y. One thing there is to note for those looking at his review and reading, the N.M. From play style (she is made for mid-range to up close - but "can hit from range"), to AA capabilities and most importantly, Armor scheme and rudder shift time with not only deflecting incoming rounds and torp belt reduction, but being able to angle your outgoing shots. I think you covered everything pretty well. Out of any tier and any country line, including any of my premiums, she takes the cake. lol Like you, she is my favorite ship in the game. But the point at which the New Mexico is "superior" is a point where the New Mexico isn't reliably accurate and it's only it's mass of shells that it fires that give it the lead. Then the icing on the cake is that the Bayern is faster, so it can better dictate where and when the brawl happens.Īs the distance between the two increases, the scales start to even out and then tip towards the New Mexico since it has more guns and a longer range (if the range mod is used). Then the secondaries just tip the scales completely in favor of the Bayern. The New Mexico may be hard to citadel, but the Bayern is impossible to citadel at brawling range, even if it gives it's broadside. That last part is why the Bayern is the superior brawler. Angled properly both ships are very hard to citadel. A Bayern had to close to under 10km to get the most out of her guns, the sweet zone for the NM is about 12-14km, but then the Bayern had those awesome secondaries that makes it even sweeter to close it. I think their about equal 1v1, I love both honestly but they have their own strengths and weaknesses.
